Previously this was called as “Marriott Indonesian Culinary Journey”, this is the third year of this special Food Festival that happens nationwide at all Marriott Hotels in Indonesia.
This is an annual Indonesian Culinary Food Festival by Marriott International, as part of Indonesian Independence Day celebrations. Participating in this exciting program, Marriott Cafe will bring again the most vibrant Indonesian cuisines by all the winning chefs from all Marriott hotels in Indonesia to the longest buffet table at Marriott Cafe from 17 – 26 August 2018.
In this buffet, we will be highlighting our winning Chef Syahrur with his dish “Karo Cipera”: roll chicken meat filled with kencong and covered by cassava leaves which is also chosen as one of the representative dishes in exlcusive menu preview at Jakarta. This dish has a very authentic taste but presented in a very modern and unique way. Chef Syahrur said this authentic Indonesian dish is inspired by his creation of Sushi Roll as he is one of Japanese Specialty Chef.
